1. Nouns (Naming Words) – Explained with Examples



Nouns are words that name people, animals, places, or things.



Types of Nouns



1️⃣ Person – teacher, boy, girl, doctor

2️⃣ Place – school, market, garden, village

3️⃣ Animal – cow, dog, elephant, tiger

4️⃣ Thing – bag, pencil, book, ball



Examples:



  • The teacher is in the classroom.
  • A dog is playing with a ball.

2. Pronouns (Replacing Words)



A pronoun is a word that replaces a noun.



Examples of Pronouns

Examples:

3. Verbs (Action Words)
